Anyone who is new to Canada and wants to improve their English language skills won’t want to miss an important information meeting on Wednesday night.

Catholic Central High School will host an open house event for students to learn more about all of the English as a Second Language (ESL) and English Literacy Development (ELD) programs offered by the WECDSB.

“We have the most established English Language Learners (ELL) programs in Windsor, including ESL A-E and ELD A-E,” said Catholic Central Principal Danielle Desjardins-Koloff. “We have a guided reading program with two teachers in the classroom for extra support. We provide academic assessment and guidance services, and many of our students go on to have successful post-secondary experiences in college and university.”

The open house will be held on April 10 from 5-7 p.m. at Catholic Central High School, which is located at 441 Tecumseh Road East.
