The beginning of a brand new school year is always such an exciting time, full of promise, potential, and great new expectations.
Over the summer our team has been working exceptionally hard to prepare for the 2018-19 school year so that when our 20,000 students return to class they'll be learning in exceptional, faith-filled environments and from the best people we can possibly find.
Many of you will see rather obvious changes when you come back. Students at Holy Names Catholic High School will find an incredible new six-lane track, complete with beautiful turf field to play on. Students at Assumption College Catholic High School will have a brand new theatre where they can rehearse and perform. Our newest students at Christ the King Catholic Elementary School, which is also an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program candidate school, will see that we've done some major renovations to the kindergarten area.
Others will experience some more subtle changes, whether those are new teachers and support staff in their buildings, or innovative new programs to choose from.
And if you're reading this now, you'll clearly notice that we have a brand new, modern and much more user-friendly web site.
All of these changes are made with one goal in mind: so that we can equip our students with everything they need to live purposeful, meaningful lives.
In closing, I hope you've had a wonderful summer break and that you are returning to class rejuvenated and ready to learn!
