Transportation Technology (Auto)

How long have you been teaching?
30 years.

What other schools have you taught at?
I taught one semester at Holy Names but have been at St. Joes since September of 1992.

What are some things you like about teaching at St. Josephs?
It has always been a wonderful, caring community of both staff and students. The school itself is a great facility.

What inspired you to go into teaching?
I had some very good technical teachers when I went to high school and my father was an automotive teacher as well. It seemed like a good career change while still staying connected to my chosen skilled trade.

Why did you choose to teach your specific subject?
I worked as an automotive service technician before becoming a teacher.

I like to sing when in the shop with my students and I like to think I have a pretty good voice.
