Childcare Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day

Early Childhood Educators play an extremely important role in the development of our youngest learners.
“They work collaboratively with classroom teachers to build a safe and caring learning environment,” said Superintendent of Education Joumana Tawil, whose portfolio includes full day kindergarten.
October 21 is Childcare Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day, which provides us with an opportunity to express our gratitude to ECEs.
“They’ve really had to go above and beyond during this pandemic, so we do want to thank them for all of their hard work and the extra time they’ve put in,” Tawil said. “They’ve made learning fun for our students, so we’re very appreciative of everything they’ve done.”
