The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board has finalized its Return to School Guidelines for the 2021-22 school year.

These guidelines were developed by the board’s senior administrative team and were based upon recommended guidelines from the Ontario government, and consultations with key stakeholders including school principals, employee groups and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.

“Our focus throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been on providing safe learning environments for our students and staff,” said Director of Education Emelda Byrne. “With these new guidelines, we are taking a cautious and measured approach to opening our schools and will continue to focus on providing our students with the best learning experience possible.”

Please note that these guidelines are subject to revision and may change as pandemic related circumstances evolve. We are committed to keeping our WECDSB community informed and will provide notification when significant changes to these guidelines are made.
